Kinkajou

They may look like monkeys, but Kinkajous are actually related to raccoons. These nocturnal creatures are also referred to as “honey bears” and feed on insects, fruit, small mammals, and honey high up in the rainforest trees of Central and South America. These little guys have some pretty neat characteristics, too. Kinkajous can turn their paws backwards to move in either direction, which makes running around on tree branches a breeze. Even these quick creatures can’t outrun threats like pollution and habitat destruction though. Make the right moves to keep Kinkajous around – recycle, support sustainable products, and protect the wild places in your backyard and around the world.
